The crumbled piece of paper had been stuck in hollow of the old oak tree for years, hidden beneath layers of moss and time. No one knew it was there--not even the person who had written it. The ink had smudged, the words barely legible, but one line stood out: "When you find this, you'll understand why."

Lila discovered the note on a quiet Sunday afternoon, her fingers brushing against the rough bark as if guided by some unseen force, She wasn't looking for anything in particular--just a moment of peace in the wood. But now, her heartbeat quickened as questions filled her mind. Who wrote this? And what was she supposed to understand?

She traced the faded words, trying to make sense of their intent. The handwriting seemed oddly familiar, tugging at the edges of her memory. It wasn't until days later, after sleepless nights and endless thoughts, that she realized: the note was hers. Years ago, in a moment of despair and courage, she had scribbled those words, hoping her future self would find them when it was time. But what had she meant? And why couldn't she remember?

The answer lingered in the wind, just out of reach, as the story of the forgotten note unfolded--one only she could write, yet one she could no longer recall.
